Design: Brooklyn Carriere (she/they)
Printed on cardstock at MisterPrint in Saskatoon. 8" x 8".
Original art is ink on paper.
About the design: I was just as shocked and heartbroken as everyone else when I found out about the 215 Indigenous children found buried in unmarked graves at the Kamloops Indian Residential School in May of 2021. I wanted to honour them in some way and add to the conversations that the discorvery sparked. I chose to speak with art.
There are two versions of this design. This one features wings in blue on a dark background to remind us of northern lights.
